Edwin School was established in Koriyama in 1986, with the aim of
creating an English school which would meet the needs of all ages
in all walks of life. In order to do this, we work on the premise
that an English school should fulfill the following functions (
requirements ):
-
Provide instruction suitable to the
level and needs of each individual student.
-
Identify and deal with the
particular problems of Japanese people learning English.
-
Maintain low numbers in children’s and
adult’s classes, in order that the teacher can focus on the needs
of each student.
-
Provide a high level of
teacher – native English speakers with a knowledge of Japan and
the Japanese language.
-
Provide instruction at a
reasonable cost.
-
Provide opportunities
for students to use English outside of a classroom setting.
-
Provide advice and
practical help on short and long term studies abroad.
-
Be flexible enough to
fit in with students’ busy schedules.
-
Provide pressure free
opportunities for trial lessons.
-
Provide advice and
materials to help students improve their ability between classes.
We are aiming for constant improvement in all of
these areas, and look forward to the chance of helping you with
your English needs. Please feel free to contact or visit us, to
discuss how we can help you. |
